No Jones

Grahame Jones is not in the press box tonight. The LA Times sent an intern to cover the game.

UPDATE: Word is that Jones has taken a bit of time off to deal with a personal matter, but will likely return soon.

    As much as I dislike Jones' snooty attitude towards MLS I'd much rather have him than whomever they had covering the game last night. BUH-RUTAL.

    Why wouldn't they ask AC to do the story? Oh...because it was an intern who is probably working for free. Makes sense, even though it's not good for the readers.
